The Lodges provide ideal holiday accommodation for all those who enjoy wildlife and the great outdoors.
For Families: Mingarry Lodges provide an ideal base for a wide range of activities offered in the local area and beyond. There are walks and cycle routes nearby, woodlands, beaches, rocky shores and castles to explore. There are plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities for all the family to enjoy by land, loch and sea. Swimming pools and heritage centres are found Mallaig and Fort William. There is also the Harry Potter Express which departs from Fort William and Mallaig (seasonal steam train service).
We have a good selecion of family themed videos, dvds and board games for an entertaining evening in.

For Small Family Groups: Why not book out both lodges to share your holiday with friends and family? The two lodges and woodlands behind provide an idea opportunity for two families to get together and have exclusive access to the site to make your holiday or family reunion or anniversary event really special.
We recognise that holidays are special times. If there is anything that we can do to make your holiday extra special then please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. For example we can personalise your birthday or anniversary celebration with optional extras.
We are on hand, if required, to offer you personal advice and tips on local walks, outdoor activities, nature reserves and tourist attractions to help you get the most out of your holiday.
We also have an arrangement with a local caterer who delivers fresh local cuisine (including fresh lobster and langoustine when in season) for that special family meal. Vension and traditionally smoked salmon are available locally.
The lodges provide excellent value for money for families and groups.
